We can provide you with temporary assistance in the form of workers in clerical and non-clerical occupations, who are actually employed by GEORGIAN STAFFING SERVICES©. We pay the temp workers wage, and make all statutory deductions required by an employer such as the employer's share of UI, CPP, Health Tax, WCB, and 4% Vacation Pay, thereby relieving you of payroll preparation. We then contract with you to compensate us for services rendered.
Temp workers provide flexibility and cost effectiveness in a competitive marketplace driven by globalization, technology and rapid change. Temp workers can be hired for fluctuations in production; for assessment by you before offering permanent employment; or as leave replacements for vacation, sick or maternity/paternity periods.
Our policy is to thoroughly examine each potential worker's experience, skills, attitude and aptitude in order to provide you with a good match. All references are verified and checked. In order to maintain high standards of service, we will ask our customers to perform a post-assignment evaluation of our temps' work and attitudes. This provides us with a clear measurement of our interviewing and selection system.
All prospective employees/placements are interviewed and references checked prior to referral to you. This service eliminates the substantial administrative time and the costs of advertising, accepting applications, screening, checking references and responding to applicants. A fee for service will be negotiated with you.
